If your exhaust is tucked into a tight spot and a straight O2 sensor spacer just won’t clear the frame, subframe, or heat shield, this 90° angled version solves that problem while still doing the real job: correcting a downstream oxygen sensor reading that’s tripping P0420, P0430, or P0042.
This 2-pack is built for dual-exhaust setups — V6 and V8 engines with a bank on each side. Each spacer threads onto your existing rear O2 sensor, then bolts back into the bung at a 90° angle, routing around whatever’s in the way without any cutting, welding, or rewiring.
Why the Angle Matters
Not every exhaust has room for a straight spacer. The 90° bend lets you tuck the sensor housing out of tight quarters — common on lowered vehicles, off-road builds, or cars where the O2 bung sits close to a crossmember. If you’re not sure which angle your car needs, a quick look under the vehicle (or a call to your mechanic) will tell you fast: plenty of clearance means straight works fine, tight quarters mean you’ll want the 45° or 90°.
Built-In Mini Catalytic Converter
Each spacer houses a small catalytic core coated with precious metals — palladium, platinum, and rhodium — the same catalysts used in full-size converters. As exhaust gas passes through, it’s converted into cleaner byproducts, which gives the O2 sensor a reading close enough to a functioning catalytic converter that the ECU stops throwing the fault code.

Installation
- Jack up the vehicle if needed and locate the O2 sensor bung.
- Remove the existing rear O2 sensor.
- Thread the sensor into the spacer, then reinstall the assembly into the bung by hand.
- Snug with a wrench — stop if you feel heavy resistance, don’t force it.
Takes most people under 15 minutes per side with basic hand tools.
Install Notes
- These go on the rear (downstream) O2 sensor only — installing on the front sensor won’t resolve the code.
- Dual exhaust and V6/V8 engines need one spacer per bank, which is why this comes as a 2-pack.
